Gambler bets $125 on slot machine — then wins huge jackpot at Las Vegas casino

A gambler is walking away with a big jackpot prize after playing a popular slot machine in Las Vegas.

The visitor sat at a Dragon Link slot at the Palms Casino Resort, the casino said in a March 14 Facebook post.

The player bet $125, hit spin and watched as the symbols flashed across the screen.

Then a jackpot message appeared saying the gambler had won $247,896.35.

Palms Casino Resort is about a 1 mile-drive west from the Strip.

Other gamblers recently got lucky on slot machines in Las Vegas.

A Palace Station gambler bet 50 cents on a Dragon Link slot and won over $16,000.

Another person bet $2.64 on a Dancing Drums machine at Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa and won more than $31,000.
