SuperLotto player wins $30 million jackpot in California. Where was lucky ticket sold?

A SuperLotto Plus player hit the $30 million jackpot, the California Lottery said.

The winning ticket matched five winning numbers plus the mega number in the drawing Wednesday, March 5, the lottery said.

The ticket was sold at My Goods Market in Cotati, which is about a 50-mile drive northwest from San Francisco, officials said.

Three other tickets won $11,609 each with five numbers drawn, the lottery said.

The winning numbers were 3, 13, 17, 23 and 35, with a mega number of 24.

More than 97,000 other players in California also won prizes ranging from $1 to over $1,700 in the drawing, lottery officials said.

The grand prize now drops to $7 million for the next drawing Saturday, March 8.

The SuperLotto Plus jackpot was last hit Dec. 11, when a ticket sold in Artesia won the $47 million grand prize, the lottery said.

What to know about SuperLotto Plus

To score the jackpot in the SuperLotto Plus, a player must match all five balls and the mega ball. The odds of scoring a jackpot prize are 1 in 41,416,353.

Tickets cost $1 and can be bought on the day of the drawing until 7:45 p.m.

Drawings are held Wednesdays and Saturdays.
