Gambler bets 50 cents on slot machine — then wins big jackpot at Las Vegas casino
A gambler bet some change on a slot machine in Las Vegas and won a big prize.
Now, the visitor is $15,691.62 richer.
The guest sat at a Lightning Dollar Link Checkered Flag slot machine at the Suncoast Hotel & Casino, the casino said in a March 2 post on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The player bet 50 cents, hit spin and watched as the symbols flashed across the screen.
Then a jackpot message appeared on the screen.
“Ladies and gentlemen, start your bets! A $.50 wager on Lightning Dollar Link Checkered Flag turned into a $15,692 jackpot win!” the casino said in the post.
The Suncoast Hotel & Casino is about a 15-mile drive northwest from the Las Vegas Strip.
Another gambler recently got lucky on a slot at a Las Vegas casino.
This player sat at a Jackpot Carnival Extreme slot machine at Sam’s Town Hotel & Gambling Hall, bet $2 and won $15,039, McClatchy News reported.
