Lottery player hits $127,000 jackpot at Florida Publix. Where was winning ticket sold?

A lucky lottery player hit the jackpot after a stop at a Florida liquor store.

Someone won $127,190.52 playing Fantasy 5 after matching all five numbers in the evening drawing Friday, Feb. 28, the Florida Lottery said.

The jackpot-winning ticket was sold at the Publix Liquors at Lake Nona Creekside in Orlando, beating odds of 1-in-376,992 to win the top prize, according to the lottery’s website.

The winning numbers drawn Friday evening were 1-6-27-33-34, results show.

Another Fantasy 5 player hit the jackpot in the midday drawing, winning $61,456.88 on a ticket sold in Tallahassee, according to the Florida Lottery.

Winners have 180 days from the draw date to claim prizes and are encouraged to sign the back of their ticket, lottery officials said.
