Pup ‘confined to a closet’ survived ‘unimaginable conditions.’ Now Teacup needs a home
A dog with a soul-shattering history is ready to find a home that can help shed a past filled with cruelty and replace it with a future filled with love in Indiana.
Teacup, a bulldog mix with a huge personality, was saved from an apartment where she experienced deplorable cruelty, her pet profile says.
“Rescued from unimaginable conditions, where she was confined to a closet without water, 3-year-old Teapot has overcome it all with a wagging tail and a spirit that refuses to be broken,” the Humane Society for Hamilton County in Fishers said in a Oct. 13 Facebook post.
“She’s short, she’s stout, and she’s absolutely bursting with love. This cuddle bug will stick to you like glue, always ready for belly rubs and snuggles.”
Her past hasn’t dimmed her extreme love for humans and life itself.
“She’s eager to be the center of your attention and dreams of being a cherished member of a family who will spoil her with affection and care,” her pet profile says. “Teapot is looking for a home without cats, but if you’re ready to offer her the love and attention she deserves, she’s ready to fill your life with warmth and joy.”
She’s also up to living with other dogs once she gets to know them, the shelter says.
