Subway is revamping its menu and fans will soon be able to sink their teeth into the new offerings — for free.

The national sandwich chain plans to give away up to a million free subs from its newly launched Subway Series menu on July 12, the Connecticut-based company announced this week. Fans can pick up a complimentary 6-inch sub at participating restaurants nationwide from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. local time.

The giveaway offers customers their first taste of Subway’s updated menu featuring 12 all-new signature sandwiches, including The Boss meatball sub and Turkey Cali Club sandwich, according to a news release.

Fans can still order custom-built sandwiches, but Subway hopes to tamp down on ordering time with these pre-made recipes.

The new Subway Series is divided into four categories — cheesesteaks, Italianos, chicken, and clubs — with three sandwiches in each, the release says. The creations can be requested by name or number, further streamlining the ordering process.

“The Subway Series is the most ambitious undertaking in company history, as we are changing the nearly 60-year-old blueprint that helped make Subway a global phenomenon,” Trevor Haynes, president of North America at Subway, said in a statement.
