Taco Bell is bringing back this limited-edition Chalupa. Here’s when you can get it
Taco Bell fans can sink their teeth into the Toasted Cheddar Chalupa — but only for a limited time.
The toasty offering is a twist on the original Chalupa and is available at participating restaurants nationwide starting Thursday, May 19, the California-based taco chain announced.
Fans have their choice of chicken, steak or seasoned beef “alongside shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, grated cheddar cheese and reduced-fat sour cream,” inside a toasted Chalupa with aged cheddar cheese baked into the shell, according to a product description.
Those in search of vegetarian options can pick black beans as their protein.
The Toasted Cheddar Chalupa is available a la carte, or customers can bundle their meal with the Toasted Cheddar Chalupa Box. The meal features one beef Toasted Cheddar Chalupa, plius a crunchy taco, cinnamon twists and a medium drink.
The offering is the latest fan-favorite to return to Taco Bell menus. The popular Mexican Pizza also makes a comeback on May 19, plus other menu items including the Dole Strawberry Squeeze lemonade.
