Teacher records sex acts with student in motel, sends them on Snapchat, Texas cops say

A high school teacher and coach in Texas was arrested Wednesday after police say he sexually assaulted a student for several months last year.

The 16-year-old victim told police her teacher, Jose Hernandez, 44, would take her out of class and drive her to a motel room where the two would have sex, KABB reported.

Police say Hernandez often took photos and recorded their sexual encounters and then sent them to the victim on Snapchat, according to KENS.

The victim says she and Hernandez had 20 sexual encounters between January and September last year, KSAT reported. She reported Hernandez on Jan. 10 this year.

The arrest report does not indicate the high school at which Hernandez was teaching at the time, KABB reported.

He’s charged with sex assault of a child, according to KENS. His bond is set at $80,000, KSAT reported.
