A Denison resident has claimed $2 million after purchasing a top prize winning ticket for the game Millionaires Club, Texas Lottery officials said in a news release Wednesday.

The claimant bought the winning scratch ticket from Joe’s Mini Mart, located at 800 W. Crawford St. in Denison. The convenience store may be eligible for a $100,000 bonus under the Retailer Bonus Program, the release states.

The Denison ticket was the first of four top prizes, each worth $2 million, to be claimed in Millionaires Club. The odds of winning any prize in this game are 1 in 3.54, according to the release. Lottery officials encourage residents to play responsibly.
