A residential development planned for far north Fort Worth might have over 200 homes instead of the originally planned 160.

The neighborhood will sit on the corner of Wagley Robertson Road and the still-to-come Heritage Trace Parkway. In June, the developers asked Fort Worth to change the zoning of two neighboring plots so the project could absorb the extra five acres.

Now that the request has been approved, the 55-acre neighborhood will have 204 one-to-two story houses. It will also include a park and pond in the center of the community. The preliminary plan is being reviewed by the city.
