Planned 166-home development in far north Fort Worth seeks additional land
A planned residential development on Wagley Robertson Road is seeking more land to build a neighborhood of 166 homes in far north Fort Worth.
The project has about 50 acres as it stands, but if city council approves the zoning changes, it would gain almost five additional acres.
The proposed development will include single family homes between one and two stories, according to the zoning change application. The land is split in half by a small pond, which the developer plans to make into a park area with a water feature, per the records.
The plot sits a couple miles south of West Bonds Ranch Road. Once the planned Heritage Trace Parkway expansion is complete, the new neighborhood would be on the southwest corner of Heritage Trace Parkway and Wagley Robertson Road.
Mary Nell Poole of Fort Worth’s TownSite is the agent on the project. She did not immediately respond to the Star-Telegram’s request for more information.
