1 person injured in what Fort Worth police called an apparent road rage shooting
One person was shot and critically injured in southeast Fort Worth Saturday night after an apparent road rage altercation, police said.
Officers responded to the shooting about 11:40 p.m. in the 3000 block of Mansfield Highway, police said in a news release.
When officers arrived, Forest Hill police were already on scene and found a passenger in a vehicle with a gunshot wound, police said.

Investigators determined two cars were involved in an altercation at the intersection of Mansfield Highway and Seminary Drive. The vehicles drove west on Seminary Drive, where someone in the suspect vehicle shot the victim’s car, hitting the front-right passenger, the release stated.
The victim’s car pulled into a nearby business, and the suspected shooter drove away, police said. Homicide detectives are investigating additional details about the shooting.
“The Fort Worth Police Department will continue holding those responsible accountable and ask the community to seek peaceful resolutions,” the release stated.
