One person was hospitalized after a shooting in south Fort Worth early Sunday, police said.

Fort Worth police officers responded to the shooting about 1:30 a.m. in the 1300 block of California Parkway, police said in a statement.

When officers arrived, they found a person with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The person was taken to an area hospital for treatment, according to police.

Investigators determined that a domestic disturbance that “quickly escalated” led to the shooting, police said. No arrests have been announced.
