2 killed in wrong-way crash with suspected drunk driver in south Fort Worth

Two men were killed in a wrong-way crash with a suspected drunk driver in south Fort Worth early Saturday, police said.

Officers were called to Interstate 35W at Garden Acres Drive shortly after 2 a.m. A car traveling south in the northbound lanes hit another vehicle, killing two of the occupants, according to police. Both died at the scene.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner publicly identified the two victims as 44-year-old Saul Carlos Flores and 63-year-old Fructuoso Cielo Tlatenchi.

Axel Perez, 18, was arrested and faces charges of intoxicated manslaughter with a vehicle, according to police records. Perez is being held in the Tarrant County Jail, and bond has not been set.
