Nearly a dozen residents, including children, were displaced by an early-morning apartment fire in south Fort Worth on Saturday.

Fire crews were called to the 7100 block of Hallmark Drive shortly after 6:30 a.m. Flames were already showing through the roof of the two-story apartment complex, Fort Worth Fire officials said on Facebook.

It took about 20 minutes to get the fire under control, according to the post. No one was injured, but eight adults and three children were displaced.

Fire officials are investigating the cause of the blaze, and the American Red Cross responded to assist the affected residents.
