All westbound lanes of Interstate 30 were closed near I-35W in downtown Fort Worth after a wrong-way crash Monday afternoon, according to police and the Texas Department of Transportation.

Drivers were asked to seek alternate routes and expect traffic delays, TxDOT said in a social media post at 2:35 p.m. The lanes reopened about 3:40 p.m., TxDOT said in an update.

Fort Worth police officers responded to the crash shortly after 2 p.m. on I-30 westbound before the Henderson Street exit, according to the 911 call log.

A 911 caller reported that an SUV traveling the wrong way on a ramp collided head-on with a pickup truck. The SUV then flipped onto its side, blocking the left lane, the caller said.

Both drivers were taken to a hospital to be treated for minor injuries, authorities said. The driver accused of going the wrong way was arrested. The suspect’s name and additional details have not been released.
