A woman was injured after someone shot at the car she was riding in early Saturday in south Fort Worth, police said.

Officers were called to the Palladium Oak Grove apartments at 4952 Esplanada St. shortly before 2:30 a.m. They found a vehicle in the parking lot with several bullet holes and a shattered rear window on the driver’s side, according to police.

The passenger had been shot in the right leg and was treated at the scene by medical personnel. The driver, who was uninjured, told officers the shooting appeared to be a road rage incident. A vehicle had followed the two women and one of the occupants began firing at them.

The Gun Violence Unit was notified about the shooting. No arrests have been announced.
