A Fort Worth man has been arrested and charged with bestiality and assaulting a family member after an incident at his home, police said.

The man’s relative called police to the residence in the 4300 block of Valentine Street at around 11:30 p.m. Oct. 28, according to a statement.

The relative told police that the man, 32-year-old Steve Salinas, was “being inappropriate” with their dog, officials said.

When the relative confronted Salinas, Salinas yelled at them and hit them, police said.

Salinas is being held at the Fort Worth Police Detention Facility.
