Loop 820 closed at Holiday Lane in North Richland Hills due to overturned truck
The eastbound lanes of Loop 820 at Holiday Lane will be closed “well into rush hour traffic” on Halloween night, officials with the North Richland Hills Police Department said Friday.
A truck overturned near that part of the highway, and crews are waiting on a wrecker to upright the truck, a police spokesperson said.
After the truck is removed, hazmat crews will come to clean up a spill associated with the crash, police said.
One person involved in the accident was taken to a hospital in stable condition, according to a statement.
Drivers should expect delays and plan an alternate route home, police said.
