Man hit by train in south Fort Worth dies at hospital, police say

A man died after he was hit by a train in south Fort Worth early Tuesday morning, police said.

Officers responded about 1 a.m. to railroad tracks near the intersection of Millbrook Lane and Nuffield Lane, where they found the man who had been struck by the train, police said.

The man was taken to a local hospital, where he later died, police said.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the man who died after his next of kin have been notified.

The investigation is ongoing, police said.
