1 person seriously injured in west Fort Worth I-30 crash; eastbound lanes closed

One person was seriously injured Tuesday afternoon in a car crash on Interstate 30 in west Fort Worth that was blocking some eastbound lanes between Bryant Irvin Road and Green Oaks Road.

Fort Worth police officers responded to a major accident on I-30 eastbound near Camp Bowie Boulevard about 12:30 p.m., according to the 911 call log.

The crash blocked three lanes and the exit on I-30 at Bryant Irvin Road and at least one lane was blocked at the Green Oaks exits as of 1 p.m., according to the Texas Department of Transportation.

A Fire Department spokesperson confirmed that one person is seriously injured and one person sustained minor injuries during the crash.
