Woman hit and killed by car Saturday night in Fort Worth, police say

A woman was killed in an auto-pedestrian crash in Fort Worth Saturday night, June 22, police said.

Officers responded to the 1900 block of Hemphill Street for an auto-pedestrian crash.

When officers arrived, they found a woman who had been struck by a vehicle and died from her injuries, police said.

The driver of the vehicle stopped and spoke with the officers, police said.

No arrests have been made.

Police said no other details are available in the ongoing investigation.

The victim will be identified by the Tarrant County Medical examiner’s office.
