Woman killed in crash on Chisholm Trail Parkway in Fort Worth, DPS says

A woman was killed in a single-car crash on Chisholm Trail Parkway in Fort Worth on Wednesday morning, the Texas Department of Public Safety said.

The preliminary investigation found that a 1999 Honda CR-V was headed south about 8:50 a.m. when it went off the toll road and hit a concrete exit sign holder at Sycamore School Road exit, according to a DPS news release.

The driver of the SUV, identified in the statement as 73-year-old Linda Tuttle of Fort Worth, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing and no other details are available, DPS said.
