Three wounded in shooting at north Fort Worth apartments Tuesday night: police
Three people who were wounded in a north Fort Worth shooting were found at two different locations Tuesday night, according to police.
The shooting was reported about 8:30 p.m. at an apartment complex in the 8100 block of North Riverside Drive, according to an online call log.
From there, first responders took one victim to the hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg, police said.
Two additional victims were found about 8:39 p.m. at a 7-Eleven in the 3900 block of North Tarrant Parkway, according to an online call log.
Those two victims, one with a gunshot wound to the face and another with a gunshot wound to the arm, were taken to a hospital from the convenience store, police said.
After further investigation, police said they determined that the shooting occurred at the first location, in the 8100 block of North Riverside Drive.
Two of the victims ran to the 7-Eleven to call for help, police said.
One victim was in critical condition Tuesday night and the other two had non-life-threatening injuries, according to a police spokesperson.
The circumstances and motive surrounding the shooting are unclear, gun violence detectives were notified and no one has been arrested, police said.
