Three bystanders injured in shooting at east Fort Worth apartments, cops say

Three bystanders were injured during an exchange of gunfire between two men at an apartment complex in east Fort worth on Tuesday morning, police said.

Officers were called to the shooting scene in the 5100 block of North Hampshire Boulevard about 10:30 a.m. on April 8.

Police said the investigation found that two men were arguing outside and both fired shots at each other. During the exchange, three people in the apartments were hit by bullets.

All three victims were taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds that are not believed to be life-threatening, police said.

Police said the two men who exchanged gunfire fled the scene. No arrests have been made.

The Fort Worth Police Department Gun Violence Unit will be investigating the shooting, police said.
