7-year-old student found after running away from Northwest ISD school, Fort Worth police say

A 7-year-old student who ran away from Northwest ISD’s OA Peterson Elementary was soon found, Fort Worth police said on Tuesday, Feb. 25.

A 7-year-old student who ran away from Northwest ISD’s OA Peterson Elementary was soon found, Fort Worth police said on Tuesday, Feb. 25.

The student, who has a medical condition, ran out of the building about 11:30 a.m. and left the campus at 2000 Winter Hawk Drive, police said.

According to 911 call records, school officials reported the boy was missing for about five minutes.

Police said the principal went after the student and returned him to school without injury.
