Fort Worth police are investigating a fatal crash as a homicide after determining that a woman intentionally caused an SUV to wreck in a possible domestic violence incident.
The car crash, in the 3400 block of Northeast 28th Street, occurred about 12:45 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15, according to police. An SUV hit a light pole in the incident, police said.
The crash killed one man, who hasn’t yet been publicly identified, and injured another man, according to a Fort Worth police report.
Officers said Monday that they detained a suspect who they believe intentionally caused the victim’s SUV to wreck. The deceased victim and the suspect were “in a dating relationship,” according to police.
