A 66-year-old North Texas woman and a toddler boy who had been missing since Tuesday morning, Feb. 11., were found this afternoon, a family friend said in a social media post.

The grandmother and 3-year-old were reported missing after they were last seen around 10 a.m. in the 5000 block of Calmont Avenue, Fort Worth police said in a social media post.

The grandmother was supposed to drop the boy off at his school shortly after 10 a.m. but never made it, according to the family. Her license plate was picked up by Fort Worth police at Phoenix Drive and Camp Bowie while traveling west, according to the Facebook post.

An alert was initiated asking the public to help find the missing persons. Around 1:40 p.m. the car was seen in Eastland before they were found, the friend’s post states.

Fort Worth police have not shared any other information about the case at this time.
