Fort Worth tire shop made latest ‘Landman’ episode. See all the North Texas references
The season finale of Taylor Sheridan’s “Landman” aired on Jan. 12, and contained a couple references to Fort Worth.
“Landman” stars Billy Bob Thornton and is described as a “modern-day tale of fortune-seeking in the world of oil rigs.” The Paramount+ series premiered Nov. 17 and aired new episodes weekly on Sundays.
Since “Landman” was filmed in the Lone Star State and is set in West Texas and Fort Worth, viewers can expect in-house references in the series.
The series has mentioned Fort Worth’s Petroleum Club, TCU, Hotel Drover, Sundance Square Plaza, Don Artemio and more. The ninth episode featured local strip club Rick’s Cabaret.
Here’s a look at all the North Texas and Fort Worth references in the 10th episode, “The Crumbs of Hope.”
