Two-alarm fire burns Fort Worth warehouse next to chef Tim Love’s catering business
A two-alarm fire damaged a 110-year-old warehouse in the Panther Island development on North Main Street early Dec. 30, next door to celebrity chef Tim Love’s office and catering business.
Firefighters responded to the call at 2:20 a.m., the Fort Worth Fire Department said. There were also reports that two people were inside the building, according to the fire department.
Crews found the two-story warehouse on fire and the incident commander called for a second alarm, along with crews to clear the building for possible victims. After about 75 minutes, firefighters brought the fire under control, according to the department.
One person was treated for smoke inhalation and no firefighters were injured. The cause of the fire is under investigation, according to the fire department.
Love’s office, test and catering kitchens are in an attached building at 713 N. Main St. The catering kitchen may have sustained water damage, WFAA reported.
All of Love’s personnel are safe and are assessing the damage, a spokesperson for Love told the Star-Telegram.
Love launched his celebrity career at Lonesome Dove Western Bistro in the Stockyards and now owns restaurants and food festivals across several states, including six restaurants and bars in the Fort Worth Stockyards and Mule Alley.
