75-year-old woman dies in Fort Worth after auto-pedestrian crash, police say

A 75-year-old woman was killed in an auto-pedestrian crash in south Fort Worth on Tuesday night, Dec. 17, police said.

The woman was crossing the intersection of Ollie Street and Mansfield Highway about 7:50 p.m. when she was struck by a car and died, police said.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office identified her as Barbara Arlean Woods.

The Traffic Investigation Unit is investigating the crash.

Police said the driver of the vehicle remained on scene and no charges are anticipated at this time.
