Where to see the best Christmas lights and house decorations around Fort Worth

Load up your family in the minivan, sugar up the kids with hot chocolate, and enjoy some twinkling Christmas lights in Fort Worth.

The city has no shortage of holiday cheer. While almost every neighborhood decorates for Christmas time, there are some that outdo others.

But which are worth visiting?

Fort Worth homes that go all out with Christmas lights

Tell Family Lights

  • 5016 Keating St, Fort Worth.

  • Nov. 28 to Dec. 31.

  • 97.5 radio to tune into music-synced light shows or listen on your phone.

  • You can also vote or request for the next song.

  • Sunday through Thursday, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Wisdom Way Lights

  • 4521 Wisdom Way, Haltom City.

  • The holiday show starts Nov. 29.

  • This family decks out their house with lights and Christmas decor every year. While the neighborhood doesn’t go to the same lengths, you can also explore the other houses around Jordan Park as well.

Black Family Lights

  • 8944 Manana St, Keller.

  • Usually begins the first week of December.

  • A light show that syncs to music by connecting to your car radio.

  • On their Facebook, they will offer up a charity to donate to.

Curry Christmas Chaos

  • 3506 Reeves St., North Richland Hills.

  • TBD start date but they will post images on their Facebook page.

  • Tune your radio to 89.9FM for a music-synced light show.

Ryan Place

  • 2530 Ryan Place Drive, Fort Worth.

  • Dec. 7, noon to 9 p.m. and Dec. 8 from noon to 5 p.m.

  • A candlelight tour of the five historic homes and neighborhood, which is also decorated for Christmas.

  • Tickets begin at $25 until Nov. 29, on Nov. 30 they will become $30.

Fort Worth neighborhoods famous for festive Christmas lights

Ridgmar neighborhood

  • Start on Ridgmar Blvd until you hit the block of 1100 Montego Road.

  • This street, in particular, has a synced light show that goes along with music on an FM radio station.

Diamond Loch

  • “Down Dawn Drive, past Chartwell to Onyx and then on to the Holland entrance where visitors will proceed counter-clockwise and then exit back out of Holland,” according to Diamond Loch’s Facebook page.

  • Nov. 28 to Jan. 1., 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Glenbrook

  • Start on Brookside Court, Bedford.

  • Begins Dec. 1 to Dec. 31, at 6 p.m.

  • Drive through the neighborhood to read The Night Before Christmas story.

Ridglea Hills

  • Along Camp Bowie and Vickery.

  • Near Luther Lake you can see the Christmas Lights reflect off the water.

Fairmount

  • Beginning 1100 Hemphill St.

  • Dec. 14, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

  • This decade-old tradition has homes in the Fairmont neighborhood lit up with Christmas cheer.

Red Brangus Trail

  • Red Brangus Trail, Fort Worth.

  • This whole street boasts light displays that are synced to music.
