Fort Worth resident wins $1 million on lucky Texas Lottery scratch-off ticket

A Fort Worth resident scratched off a lucky ticket and bagged a million dollars.

The resident, who remains anonymous, claimed a top prize-winning ticket worth $1 million in the scratch ticket game called Millions Club, according to a news release from the Texas Lottery Commission.

The winning ticket was purchased at Crossroad Shell, located at 3605 Western Center Blvd.

This was the eighth of 10 top prizes worth $1 million to be claimed in this game. Millions Club offers more than $161 million in total prizes. Overall odds of winning any prize in the game are one in 3.36, including break-even prizes, the commission said.

The Texas Lottery began in 1992.
