Dallas-Fort Worth has another chance of scattered showers and storms on Thursday.

The North Texas region had a low chance of storms on Wednesday, with similar weather conditions in the mix for Thursday, according to the National Weather Service Fort Worth office.

Overall, Dallas-Fort Worth has a 20% chance of storms with the afternoon hours having the best likelihood for precipitation. Since storm coverage will be scattered, some areas in North Texas could miss out on rainfall entirely, the NWS said.

Thursday’s high temperatures will be in the mid to upper 90s, with overnight lows in the mid-70s.

The NWS is forecasting higher rain chances on Friday.

A 50% chance of showers and storms are in the mix for the region in the afternoon. High temperatures are expected to stay in the low 90s Friday.
