Scattered showers and thunderstorms are in the mix for Dallas-Fort Worth on Wednesday.
The best chance for storms will be in the afternoon and Dallas-Fort Worth has a 20% chance of rain, according to the National Weather Service Fort Worth office.
Since storm coverage will be scattered, some areas in North Texas could miss out on rainfall entirely. The severe weather threat will remain low Wednesday, although some storms may produce gusty winds and brief heavy rainfall, the NWS said.
Wednesday high temperatures will be in the mid to upper 90s, with morning lows in the uppers 60s to mid 70s.
Nearly the same weather conditions are in the forecast on Thursday.
