Motorcyclist killed in crash on East Loop 820 in Fort Worth, police say
Fort Worth police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash Friday night on Loop 820.
Police said in a news release that officers responded shortly after 11 p.m. to the northbound lanes of traffic in the 5400 block of East Loop 820.
The investigation found that a motorcyclist was trying to pass a truck pulling a trailer, and the motorcycle crashed into a barrier on the freeway, police said.
The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the driver after the next-of-kin are notified.
