Eight people injured in Loop 820 multi-vehicle wreck, Fort Worth police say
Eight people were injured in a crash involving multiple vehicles that shut down Loop 820 on Tuesday, according to authorities.
The crash happened around 3:15 p.m. in the southbound lanes near West Point Boulevard, according to TxDOT.
One person was trapped in a vehicle, according to Fort Worth police. Six of the victims had minor injuries, a man in his twenties sustained serious injuries and a woman in her twenties was in critical condition, according to MedStar.
Six vehicles, possibly more, were involved in the wreck, according to police. The cause of the crash has not yet been specified.
