Man shot in neck on Fort Worth’s north side. Police searching for suspect

A man is in stable condition following a shooting Tuesday afternoon on Fort Worth’s north side, according to Fort Worth police.

At around 1:50 p.m., officers were dispatched to North Main Street and Northwest 23rd Street in response to a call about a shooting.

Police said an adult male was shot in the back of his neck. He was taken to a hospital in serious condition, according to MedStar.

The investigation indicates that the victim and suspect knew each other, according to police, but they have not described a motive for the shooting.

No arrests have been made.

The department’s gun violence unit is investigating.
