Fort Worth police are investigating 3-vehicle crash that killed 1, injured 2
Authorities are investigating a three-vehicle car accident that killed one person and hospitalized two others on April 20, Fort Worth police said in a news release.
Just before 1 p.m., police were dispatched to the intersection of South Riverside Drive and East Berry Street in reference to a three-vehicle major accident.
Upon arrival, first-responders located the vehicles and quickly provided aid, according to the release.
Three people were taken to a local hospital for medical treatment, where one of them was pronounced dead, police said. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the man who died as William Cheese, 65, of Fort Worth.
The other two victims were in stable condition, according to police.
The Fort Worth Traffic Investigations Unit was notified and is investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
