Authorities identify woman hit, killed by vehicle near Fort Worth Stockyards Sunday

The woman hit and killed by a driver near the Fort Worth Stockyards on Sunday has been identified as 55-year-old Argentina Pena, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Pena was hit in the 2900 block of North Main Street around 6:28 p.m., according to police. The incident happened about an hour after sunset.

The woman was on foot when she was hit by a vehicle, police said. There is no foul play suspected and the crash has been ruled an accident.
