Man’s body found in Trinity River in Fort Worth; police investigating

Authorities found and recovered a man’s body in the Trinity River in Fort Worth on Saturday, according to the Fort Worth Police Department.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the man as Troy Lynn Hess, 25. His cause of death has not been determined, and an autopsy is pending as of Tuesday.

Police said they were investigating the death. The body was found in the river under a bridge near North Main Street.

The Fort Worth Fire Department also responded.

First responders were at the scene around 10 a.m. Saturday.
