Man seriously injured in North Richland Hills shooting at motel near Loop 820
A man was injured Wednesday night in a shooting near Loop 820, North Richland Hills police said.
Officers went to a motel in the area of Boulevard 26 shortly after 8 p.m. in response to a call from the victim, officials said in a social media post.
The man was inside a motel room and had suffered a gunshot wound to the leg. Officers applied a tourniquet and the victim was transported to a local hospital in serious condition.
No suspect is in custody.
The shooting is believed to be an isolated incident, according to police, who said there is no current threat to the community.
