Strong winds created an additional hazard as embers from the fire spread to tree lines and neighboring buildings.

“Thankfully, firefighters were able to control those exposures and they were all spared heavy damage,” the Fort Worth Fire Department said in a Facebook post.

Crews were able to get the fire under control in about an hour.

No one was injured. The complex had no residents because the building was still under construction.
