Bans Off Our Bodies, an abortion rights group, is planning a protest Saturday in downtown Fort Worth in response to the Supreme Court decision released Friday that overturned Roe V. Wade and returned to individual states the right to fully regulate abortions.

On Friday morning, the U.S. Supreme Court repealed the constitutional right to abortion when it overturned the landmark Roe v. Wade case — handing control to individual states.

Bans Off Our Bodies plans to meet at the Tarrant County Courthouse at noon on Saturday.

“Women should have full body autonomy,” Bans Off Our Bodies said on the protest page. “Pregnancy is not something to be forced because women still die in pregnancy or suffer major health issues. Also, the leading cause of maternal death is homicide. Take away the safe way to abortion and you’ll only find more dead women.”
