Is Walmart closed on Easter Sunday 2022? Find out which stores are open this weekend

Easter is this Sunday, April 17, but if you need to make a last-minute grocery store run for eggs, candy or food coloring don’t fret — most grocery stores in the Fort Worth area will be open.

Easter, a Christian holiday, is not recognized as a federal holiday. The Friday before Easter, known as Good Friday, and the Monday after Easter, referred to as Easter Monday, are also celebrated by some but are not federal holidays.
