Pedestrian struck, killed by vehicle at northwest Fort Worth intersection
A pedestrian was killed early Monday after being hit by a vehicle at an intersection in northwest Fort Worth, police said.
The name of the man who was pronounced dead at the scene had not been released pending notification of relatives.
Fort Worth police responded to a report of a major accident involving a pedestrian and a vehicle just after 2 a.m. at Northwest Loop 820 and Cahoba Drive.
Once they arrived, police determined that a man had been hit by a vehicle at the intersection. Fort Worth police did not provide any further details on the accident.
Detectives with the traffic unit are investigating the fatal accident.
