General admission for adults are $12, children ages 6-16 are $6, and children 5 and under are free. General admission gives access to all non-ticketed attractions for a day.

To purchase daily access to all non-ticketed attractions for the entirety of the show, buy a souvenir pin for $50. For more information on the souvenir pin, visit the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo website’s “General Admission” page under the “Plan a Visit” tab.

When should I go to the Stock Show & Rodeo?

The events start Friday, Jan. 14, and run through Feb. 5, giving a total of 23 days to chose from. Matt Brockman, Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo communications manager, said visitors can check the events schedule at fwssr.com/events and pick a day that works best.

For those wanting a casual experience to take everything in, he recommends coming during a weekday. If during the workday is inconvenient, Brockman said, visitors can always make an evening trip after work.

Events and shows run at various times, so it’s best to check the schedule. The grounds will be open from 8 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. daily.

How much is parking at the Stock Show?

Parking is $17 at lots and garages near the grounds, and major credit cards are accepted for payment.

Here are the parking locations available to visitors near the grounds:

  • Orange lot and Western Heritage Garage at 1400 Gendy St.
  • Blue Lot near the National Cowgirl Museum at 3596 Harley Ave.
  • Yellow Lot near Dickies Arena at 1911 Montgomery St.

Parking will be available on Saturdays and Sundays at the UNT Health Science Center, 3500 Camp Bowie Blvd.

Guests can save $12 if they choose to park at Billy Bob’s North Parking Lot, which is $5 per car. The Rodeo Redline shuttle service will take visitors straight from this lot to the Stock Show grounds. It runs every 30 minutes.

The Rodeo Redline shuttle operates Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Drop-off and pick-up locations will be offered for those using a ride share service.

For visitors interested in livestock and horse shows, shopping and auditorium entertainment, one location will be in front of the Will Rogers Memorial Center entrance, 3400 Will Rogers Road South. For rodeo attendees, a drop-off location will be at 1911 Montgomery St., and a pick-up location will be at 3596 Harley Ave.

What kind of food will be there?

No matter how you want your food served, on the go or sitting and savoring, you’ve got options. If you’re in the mood for food you can hold in your hand, Brockman said, there will be corndogs, cotton candy, cinnamon rolls and more available.

Reata at the Rodeo and Reata at the Backstage Club inside the grounds will be open for guests who want to take a break from the walking.

What should I wear to the Stock Show?

There’s no dress code, Brockman said, but visitors are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes for walking. “I don’t want people to think ‘Oh I don’t have the hat’ or ‘I don’t have the boots,’” he said. “Of course we want you to come, regardless.”

Once inside the grounds, there are retail vendors selling boots, jeans, hats and more for those wanting to put a Western twist on their outfit. The vendors will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
