Traffic on eastbound Northeast Loop 820 was backed up at Mark IV Parkway in Fort Worth for hours Tuesday afternoon following a three-vehicle accident involving a cement truck that caused a fuel spill, according to Fort Worth police.

Nobody was injured in the accident, which was reported about 1 p.m., police said, but multiple lanes were closed while the wreck was cleaned up. Authorities said shortly after 6 p.m. that the highway had reopened.

Images from Texas Department of Transportation cameras in the area of the crash showed Fort Worth police blocking the entirety of eastbound Northeast Loop 820, ushering traffic off the highway at the Blue Mound Road exit.
