Woman hit by car, critically injured during dispute in Fort Worth neighborhood

A woman was in critical condition Friday morning after being hit by a car near Sandy Lane and Ederville Road in far east Fort Worth, authorities said Friday.

The woman jumped in front of the car during a domestic dispute, Fort Worth police said.

No other injuries were reported.

Fort Worth police responded to a major accident call shortly after 7 a.m. at Ederville Road and Sandy Lane.

A caller reported his girlfriend had been hit by a car, according to a police call log.

Fort Worth police did not provide any further details on the accident.
