One injured after suspects kicked in apartment door in east Fort Worth, police say

One person was injured early Wednesday after exiting through a window when multiple suspects stormed into an apartment in far east Fort Worth, Fort Worth police said.

The victim suffered minor injuries, police said.

The suspects fired a shot into the apartment, but no one was wounded.

The home-invasion incident occurred just before 1 a.m. in the 13,000 block of Rollingwood Drive.

A caller reported unknown suspects broke into an apartment and fired a shot, according to a police call log.

When they arrived, police learned that several suspects kicked in an apartment door during a robbery that authorities say could be drug related.

Fort Worth police did not release any other details.
